The Women’s Ministry Prayer Team is an exciting opportunity for women of all backgrounds and experiences to meet with God in intercessory prayer and watch for His answers with the intent of giving God all of the glory.

Our team was formed in the fall of 2019 to equip and encourage women to be committed to the daily practice of personal prayer that is effective and fruitful and Scripture-driven. Our vision is that we will become women who bathe their families and homes, the church, 804+ and the next generation in prayer.

Card Ministry Team – We send out notes or greeting cards of encouragement to the staff, members of the church, and the teachers, medical staff and policemen of our area. We also write to our nursing home members on a monthly basis. We pray over every card.

T2 Prayer Team – We meet via Zoom from September to May, every Monday night from 7 – 7:45 pm. Our primary focus is to pray for T2 leaders, mentors and mentees and Turnouts, but our ministry now extends to pray for all the women of the church. New members are welcome!

Scripture Card Team – For large events, we place cards with prayed-over, handwritten scripture at each seat. The Women’s Prayer Shawl ministry will often knit prayer squares (hearts, leaves, etc.) to accompany each card. We are looking for women to join us in writing and praying over the scripture cards.

The handiwork of the ladies of the Prayer Shawl Ministry touches the lives of the very young and the very young at heart. They provide a remembrance for occasions of joy and celebration, for grieving, and for comfort. The items they create are gifts that open doors to share the love of Christ. They reach out to the neighbors in their hometown, children in their state capital, strangers in their hemisphere and even the other side of the planet. God is so good to have given them these gifts and talents. Others are blessed because they do not squander their gifts but instead faithfully use them to spread The Gospel.

In His Garden is for those interested in learning more about gardening and developing a deeper relationship with The Master Gardener. Mentors teach lessons from the Bible using garden and plant references, in addition to basic gardening
instruction. Classes are held at the mentors’ homes so that students can experience garden variety and techniques firsthand.

MOPS and MomsNext is a place where mothers of preschoolers and school age children can come and experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual help. At our meetings, you’ll be welcomed, accepted and inspired to reach your full potential and recognize your influence within your family and the world.

MOPS and MomsNext is a place that gets moms – We understand your unique needs, challenges and joys in this vital season of early mothering. You will be welcomed in our groups just as you are!

At our time together you will have the chance to socialize with other moms, hear some great teaching, have discussion time and participate in creative activities. During our meetings, your children will be cared for in a program called Moppets, where they will be loved and cared for. We believe that moms really do make a better world.

MOPS meets from September through May on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

T2 (Titus 2) is a mentoring ministry based on Titus 2:3-5, “ 3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” Our purpose is to model, teach and encourage young women to walk with Christ in every aspect of life with eternity in view. All women are welcomed to join in because all women go through so many different stages and circumstances in life. We will do the mentoring both with a large group gathering called T2 Turnout and through pairing of older and younger women. Our large group gatherings, T2 Turnouts, will occur 5 times a year in different home settings with snacks, fellowship and a speaker. Our mentor/mentee pairing is optional and sign ups will occur at T2 Turnouts. Pairings will be matched by our Mentoring Team and have a commitment of one year.

Our vision statement is: Women doing life together for such a time as this. Our vision statement is from the verse Esther 4:14, “ And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” We live today, in this country, with this community to do all that God calls us to do as his daughters in Christ. Our vision statement will continue throughout the years although we will have different verses for each year to be woven through all we say and do.
