The gap between the church and the culture is getting wider, uncomfortably wider.  Could our beliefs be making us outcasts?  If they are, then we should sure want to be certain about why we believe what we believe and from where those beliefs came.  So central to the Christian faith is the Bible.  It tells us who God is, what He is like, what life is about and why things happen.  It tells us where we came from and where we are going.  It tells us what is right and wrong. But who decided that, and aren’t there all kinds of translations, which just really means no one knows? We are going to spend this fall building a security and confidence in our Bible. What is it and why can we trust it? Why is something 2000+ years old relevant in speaking to today? We’ll understand what “all those translations” are about, and try to gain a little more understanding with this Book we hold in our hand and base so much. Yes, this Book calls for great commitment, but brings such great joy and answers. Join us September 16 as we begin a 4-week series called, “My Bible”.
